Aphena Pharma Solutions is proud to announce the launch of its new Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Division.

This is a natural next step for Aphena — a longtime, industry-leading provider of pharmaceutical packaging and manufacturing services — as the company continues to expand its offerings to better serve clients.

Aphena plans to be ready to serve the 3PL market in late 2021 and to bring on its first clients in early 2022.

Aphena will offer its 3PL services at reasonable rates to the prescription pharmaceutical market, with a focus on the generic subsegment as well as the over-the-counter pharmaceutical market and the nutraceutical/homeopathic markets.

Aphena’s 3PL logistics services and capabilities will include:

  • Full distribution services (receipt, storage and order fulfillment)
  • Order-to-cash services (accounts receivable, invoicing, chargebacks and month-end close)
  • Controlled room temperature (CRT) storage
  • DEA schedule II (vault) and DEA schedule III-V storage
  • Cold chain, 2-8º Celsius storage
  • NABP DDA (VAWD) certification “in progress”
